In May of 2023, Darrin and Laura Simpson purchased Eastern Shore Pole Buildings from the previous owner. Together, the Simpsons bring decades of construction, marketing and management experience to the company. In addition to Eastern Shore, the Simpson are the proud owners of Blue Hen Construction, a Delaware-based company that specializes in custom home builds. 

Eastern Shore presented a unique opportunity for the Simpsons to expand their horizons and provide an even wider breadth of services across Kent, Sussex and counties on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. While Darrin and Laura oversee the family business, Eastern Shore’s day-to-day operations are led by their son, Jordan Simpson, and their daughter-in-law, Heather Simpson. 

As the sales manager, Jordan leads our projects from concept to completion. His extensive agricultural background allows him to truly understand the unique and specific needs of our clients. Having been in their world for so long, Jordan can anticipate everything our clients need to feel at ease and thrilled with the final results. 

Heather, our financial coordinator,  handles sales and estimating for our clients. As the initial point of contact, Heather helps our clients envision their projects, understand their goals and answer their questions to ensure a smooth, positive experience from Day One.
